Be a Cryo-EM micropist and learn in this ATM more about the functionality, application and background of Cryo-electron microscopy. In addition to various lectures giving an overview about the cryo-EM instrument, methods and image processing you can work in small groups under supervision of Jun.-Prof. Dr. Kastritis and his lab members on a Cryo-EM. Starting with sample preparation, continuing with microscopy and image processing you will get to know the workflow of this method. During this ATM you will get an insight into the fascinating technology of Cryo-EM and its numerous applications in the investigation of polymers.
